She was predeceased by: her husband Duaine Frank Brown, Sr.; and her son Duane Frank Brown, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Samuel Mark Brown, Richard Eric Brown (Sherri), Timothy Ray Brown and Melissa Gail Creer; and her siblings, Althea Jones and Roy Rattliff. She is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to one of the local nursing homes.
