It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Spruill of Smackover, Arkansas, born in Junction City, Arkansas, who passed away on October 20, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Lowery and Annie Mae Smith Lowery; her husband Billy Dean Spruill; her daughters, Teresa Moses and Sharon Valentine; and her siblings, Preston Lowery, Gladys Spain, Barbara Parks, Laverne Bowden and Janet Carter.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy Rowan (Mike) of Smackover; her siblings, Judy Corley (David) of Smackover and Johnny Lowery (Donna) of Camden; and her caregivers, Amy Works, Lottie Preston and Jane Clemons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 1:00 PM. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Smackover Cemetery (101 E 14th St, Smackover, AR 71762).
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Smackover building fund or Smackover Public Library.
