He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Pierce and Jewel Mae Porter Phillips; his wife Libbye; and his siblings, Hilda Teer, Martin, Roy and Herbert Phillips.

He is survived by: his children, Tina Phillips Rischbieter (Timothy) of The Town, Jim Phillips (Tina) of El Dorado and Rod Phillips (Candy) of Smackover; his grandchildren, Jennifer Herrera, Hope Tarlton (Taylor), Clark Rischbieter, Katelyn Osborn (David), Annie Phillips and Evan Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Ryker Herrera, Owen Tarlton, Brantley Osborn and Emma-Kate Tarlton.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Family Life Center, 201 W. 7th Street, Smackover, AR 71762.
