He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Frances Couch Gathright and Johnny Cordell Gathright; his brothers, Buck Gathright and David Gathright; and his son Tim Gathright.
He is survived by: his wife Gisela Gathright of Smackover; his daughters, Tammy Barnes of Tyler, TX and Tanya Gathright of El Dorado; and his sister Vicki Sweet (Ronald) of Three Creeks. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; two great granddaughters.
