He was predeceased by: his parents, Deffie Gathright and Marjorie Simpson Gathright; and his brothers, John Henry Gathright and Bobby Gene Gathright. He is survived by: his wife Myrna Corley Gathright; his children, Doug Gathright (Ariana) and Misty Boswell (Heath); his brothers, Shelly Gathright (Evelyn) and Ron Gathright (Millette); and his grandchildren, Katelyn Osborn (David), Katherine Mathews (Madison), Ryan Jerry (Meagan), Alisha Douglas (Mike), Emily Lawson (Tim), Caleb Gathright, Abigail Gathright and Xavier Gathright. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
