With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Ann Lowery Parks (Smackover, Arkansas), born in Junction City, Arkansas, who passed away on May 30, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Murry Parks; and her siblings, Gladys Spain, Janet Carter and Preston Lowery. She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Ann Christian (Charlie) of El Dorado, AR, Becky Henley (Waylan) of Stella, MO and Cindy Hughes (Ralph) of Hot Springs, AR; her siblings, Jane Spruill of Smackover, AR., LaVerne Bowden of Smackover, AR., Judy Corley (David) of Smackover, AR. and John Lowery (Donna) of Camden, AR; her sisters-in-law, Ellen Lowery of Camden, AR and Jean Parks of Hot Springs, AR; her grandchildren, Josh Henley (Julia), Hillary Heywood (Jeff), Sam Henley (Sarah), Josh Hughes, Alex Killingsworth (Mike) and Corbin Hughes (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Edith Heywood, Dorothy Heywood, Finn Henley, Harriette Henley and Lynette Henley.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 500 West 7th Street, Smackover, AR 71762.
