She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Suggs and Fern Suggs (Hyler); and her sister Darlene Faye Massey. She is survived by: her husband Jack McDowell; her son Shon Gomez; and her stepdaughter Michelle McDowell. She is also survived by numerous aunt, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
