He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmen Garris and Rozella Garris. He is survived by: his wife Angie Garris; his children, Tommie Garris of Marietta, Georgia, LeeAnne Garris of Marietta and Wyatt Garris of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Karissa Jackson, Damon Jackson, Sabrina Jackson, Michael Barnes, Jr. and Trent Barnes. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
