He was predeceased by: his parents, Wiley Thomas Roberts and Leona Grace Roberts (Edgerly); his grandmother Emma Kruse; and his brother Thomas E. Roberts. He is survived by: his wife Susan Roberts; his children, Richard Merle Roberts of Liberal, David Wayne Roberts (Lisa) of Jeffersonville, Doug Roberts (Tosha) of Tulsa and Cheryl Garcia (Benito) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Richard Roberts Jr., Josh Roberts, Amber Vargas (Stacey), Sarah Roberts (Christopher), Conner Roberts and Bethany Garcia; and his great grandchildren, Bentley, Kayden, Dylan and Janiyah Roberts.
A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Trinity Pentecostal Church (2450 S Lincoln St, Siloam Springs, AR 72761).
