He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Orville" Austin and Verda Athel Austin (Jenkins); and his siblings, Dean Austin (Jo) and Verlene Couch (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Janet Schleper; his children, Beth (John Schmidt), Will (Annette) and Craig (Louise); and his grandchildren, Eric, Kevin, Amy Schmidt, Faith, Jonah and Andrew Austin.
