He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Gordon Long and Glenna Inez Long (Creek). He is survived by: his children, Anita Solis-Slinkard of Rogers, Arkansas, Jerrod Long of Arizona and Gordon Long of Rogers, Arkansas; and his sisters, Patsy Setser of Tulsa and Helen Beeman of Springfield, Missouri. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
