With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Ruth Smith (Siloam Springs, Arkansas), born in Columbia, Tennessee, who passed away on March 9, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Ruth Smith to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Snedegar and Gertrude Snedegar (Richardson); her daughter Donna Partridge; her stepson John Smith; and her siblings, Douglas Snedegar, Robert Snedegar, Helen Barkalow and Katherine Rindahl.

She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Smith; her daughters, Julie Lewis of Michigan and Lisa Castor (Delayne) of Missouri; her stepsons, Mike Smith of North Carolina and Matthew Smith (Shannon) of Florida; and her son-in-law Rocky Howe. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
