He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Haxel and Evelyn Haxel; his sister Helen Sue Haxel Camfield; and his brother-in-law David Camfield. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Haxel; his children, Nash Haxel (Teri) of St. Louis, MO and Jo Carole Haxel (John Anderson) of Cedaredge, CO; his brother Kenneth Haxel (Diana) of Fayetteville, AR; his grandchildren, Katie Reed (Tim) of St. Louis, MO and Ryan Haxel of Fort Pierce, FL; and his great grandchild Rowan Reed.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (325 E Twin Springs St, Siloam Springs, AR 72761).
