He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eulis Caraway and Elsie Caraway; his wife Verbyl Davis Caraway; his children, Connie Martin (Dale), Vickie Caraway (John Head) and Steve Caraway (Karla); his grandchildren, Colby Martin, Brent Martin (Brittney), Davis Caraway (Emma) and Ellie Caraway; his great grandchildren, Zach Martin (Madison), Ashli Whitmire (Aaron), Caleb Martin, Bella Bunch, Bree Martin and Alarik Martin; his great great grandchild Scarlett Rose Whitmire; his sisters, Nona Lawhon (Charles) and Donna Jo Caraway; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Caraway, Betty Caraway and Joyce Hall-Caraway; his great-grandparent Will Caraway; and his nephew Brice Humbrecht.
He was a farmer, a rancher and a carpenter who could perform any building task from digging the foundation by hand to capping the chimney and nailing on the last shingle.
