It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernie Lee King (Shirley, Arkansas), born in Dumas, Arkansas, who passed away on August 30, 2018, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Willie King, Jerry King, Charlene Mizell and Linda King Chaddick. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Clementine Bills King; his sons, Ricky King (Teresa) of Redfield, Kevin King (Monica) of Star City, Allen King (Ester) of Star City and Bryan King (Renee) of Batesville; and his siblings, Charles King of Gould, Jimmy King (Carol) of Ozark, MO, Dennis King (Nin) of Dewitt, Frances Flowers of Gould and Mary Tarlton (Bobby) of Gould. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
