It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Allen Carpenter of Shirley, Arkansas, born in Winona, Mississippi, who passed away on October 30, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Armstrong Carpenter and Lylia'Ruth'Montgomery Carpenter; his wife Marie Carpenter; and his brother Billy Carpenter. He is survived by: his daughters, Linda Azar (George) and Kay Lasley (Lynn); his grandchildren, Joshua Azar (Brooklyn), Kaelyn Lasley and Boyd Lasley; his great grandchildren, Olivia Azar and Carter Jo Azar; and his siblings, Willie Paul Carpenter, Lauree Carter and Dorothy Buechel. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery. A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
