He was predeceased by: his fathers, Robert Riddle and Hugh Meriweather Riddle; his brother George Riddle; and his grandson Dustin Cockerhan. He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Ellis; his children, Connie Farish (James) of Tulsa, Bonnie Lee Maisano (Michael) of Krebs, Neil Smith (Jean) of Dallas and Bart Smith of Japan; his grandchildren, Justin, Rob, Sheri and Krystal; his great grandchildren, Cody, Colin, Evan, Kaylee, Kaylynn, Cheyenne, Madison, Faith and Justin; his great great grandchildren, Keclee and Riker; and his siblings, James Riddle (Sue Ann) of Searcy and Sara Riddle of Little Rock.
