With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Oleeta Lucy Goodnight McElroy of Shirley, Arkansas, who passed away on March 29, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Blizzard and Lucy F. Bliss; her former husband Bill Goodnight; her spouse Donnie McElroy; and her siblings, Lilly Harmon and Robert Ralph Blizzard.
She is survived by: her children, James Goodnight (Dell), Leroy Goodnight (Josie), Michael Goodnight (Lori), Gary Goodnight (Sandra) and Cheryl Willoughby (Jim); and her siblings, Marcia Girdler (Rod), Helen Blizzard Johnson, Virginia Cates Russell, Rosaletta Blizzard and David Cates.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clinton Funeral Service (218 Hwy 65 S, Clinton, AR 72031).
