He was predeceased by: his father Johnny Harper; his wife Olive "Ollie" Harper; and his son-in-law Walter Bradley. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Bradley of Burns, Tennessee and Jim Harper of Shirley, Arkansas; his granddaughters, Heather Bradley of Burns and Amber Holt (Eddie) of Burns, Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Sam, Shelby, Ellie and Jack Harper. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
