He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Sowell and Syble Huggins Sowell; and his siblings, Winston and Brenda Sowell. He is survived by: his wife Freda Sowell; his children, Michael Sowell (Kristy) and Becky Gentry; his brothers, Robert Sowell and Gerald Sowell; his grandchildren, Joshua Gentry, Katrina Tracy, Michala Harman, Ashley Bane (Jacob) and Faith Sowell; and his great grandchildren, Blade Gann, Clair Gann, Sierra Gann, Brody Gentry, Braylen Gentry and Jasper Bane. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and other family members.
