He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Albert" and Ruthie Belle Johnson (Babcock); his wife Anna Mae Johnson (Bolden); and his siblings, Grover Johnson, Bill Johnson, John Johnson, Hazel Parker, Maxine Cullum, Addie Mae Wood and Hester Turney.
He is survived by: his children, Terri Boone (Don) of Fairfield Bay, Tammy Sutterfield (James) of Shirley and David Johnson (Rebecca) of Clinton; his granddaughters, Brandy Mooney (Chad), Cheyenne Thrasher (Dustin) and Kishia Frazier (Cody); and his great grandchildren, Dakota Mooney, Brayden Mooney, Brycen Thrasher, Tucker Thrasher and Denton "Scooter" Thrasher. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
