He was predeceased by: his parents, Cordell Shelton and Grace Shelton; his sister Martha Halbert; and his nephew Robert Clark. He is survived by: his wife June Shelton; and his nieces and nephews, Steven Peek (Anita), Sharon Riggs (Bill), Emily Giles (Jeff), Julia Ferrell, Louise Foyil (David), Laura Mobbs, Ruthie Courtney, Larry Clark and Judy Gately.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Smith-Sherwood Funeral Home (7700 AR-107, Sherwood, AR 72120). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
