He was predeceased by: his parents, Will Bunyard and Rose Ashcraft Bunyard; and his siblings, Minnie Lou "Bunny" Bunyard-Riker of California, Pauline Hansen Ezell of Scott, Robert Bunyard of Bauxite and Bill Bunyard of California.

He is survived by: his wife Glenda Sue Pack Bunyard; his daughter Rebecca Bunyard Tackett; his son-in-law Alan Tackett of Little Rock; his grandsons, Will and Jack Tackett of Little Rock; his sister Gail; and his brother-in-law Robert Heagler of Jefferson City, MO..

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to the First Baptist Church of Sherwood or to the UAMS General Fund.
