He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Cloninger and Gladys Cloninger (Fowler); and his siblings, Mary Bell Cloninger, Dorothy Robinson, Aubrey Cloninger, Christine Dorrell, Lynn Taylor and Cynthia Cloninger.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cloninger (Taylor); his sons, Thomas Lee Cloninger, Jr. Maumelle (Susan) and Timothy James Cloninger of Cabot; his grandchildren, Bevin Green (Arthur), Megan Cruce (Hayden), Taylor Brown (Jared), Ryan Cloninger (Cara) and Madison Hoffmann (Clay); his great grandchildren, Cade Green, Arthur Thomas Green, Emory Cloninger, Jace Cruce, Kian Green, Isaac Cloninger, Sadie Cruce, Eleanor Cloninger and Eisley Hoffmann; and his siblings, Bobby Cloninger of England, Patsy Cloninger Hogan of Carlisle, Kenny Cloninger (Carla) of Lonoke, Sisters, Melna Eddleman (William) and Cindy Taylor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
