He was predeceased by: his stepbrother Albert Mason; and his sister Alma Faye Scott. He is survived by: his wife Martha Scott; his sons, Mark, Randy and Bryan Scott; his stepson Kirk Thompson; his grandchildren, Tiffany Gains, Brad, Brittany, Alexandria and Falon Scott; his great grandchildren, Georgia Grace and Michael Zachary Gains; and his siblings, Wilma Murphree (Ray) and B. L. Scott.
