She was predeceased by: her mother Elsie Lockhart Miller; her husband George Lewis Cummings; and her daughter Sue Crain. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Cummings, Lou Ford, Bruce Cummings (Berta), Grant Cummings (Charlene) and Glenn Cummings (Sonni). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
She served on the Worship Committee, Trustees, Altar Arts, United Methodist Women and the Quilting Angels, the quilting group that served their church by donating all monies raised to go back into the church.
