He was predeceased by: his parents, William C. Kinder and Alice Barbara Kinder (Creech); his brother Hugh Edward Kinder; and his father-in-law William Thomas Richey. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Kinder (Richey); his siblings, Jon Jay, Marie Kinder of Meppen, IL, Gilbert, Shirley Kinder of Golden Eagle, IL, Rose Ann Kinder of Godfrey, IL., Linda Kirn of Godfrey, IL and Mary Ann Hetzel of Alton, IL; his sons, Aaron Kinder of Ward, James (Ashley Paladino), David Kinder of Russellville, Seth (Michelle Kinder), Noah (Heather Kinder) and Joseph (Johanna Paladino); his mother-in-law Hilda Richey of Sherwood; and the mother of his children Donna Kinder of Sherwood. He is also survived by 14 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to either Indianhead Lake Baptist Church in Sherwood, AR or a charity of one's choice.
