He was predeceased by: his parents, W. Harrel "Bill" Smith and Peggy Smith; and his grandmother Velma Metcalf. He is survived by: his wife Shannon; his children, Peter Jr. (Darby), Wesley (Sydney), William (Haley) and Stevie; and his grandchildren, Sable, Mae and Joanna Smith.
