He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hartness and Louise Hartness of Monticello, AR. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his sister Shirley Hickman of Little Rock; his siblings-in-law, Shirley Knox of Sherwood and Buddy Bevill (Sammie) of Blytheville; his children, Nathan Hartness of Ward and Cecilia McBrier (Bobby) of Hensley; his niece Denyce Frisco (Tony) of Little Rock; his stepchildren, Vicky Bradley (Tony) of Sherwood, Sherry Cox (Dave) of Benton and Jeff Jenkins (Amy) of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Candace Angel of Phoenix, AZ, Ashely Rankin of Little Rock, Hallie Henderson (Sean) of Ward, Missy McBrier of Ward, Natalie Payne (Matt) of Cabot, Shannon Hanks (Kyle) of Sherwood, Jennifer Furstenberg (Jeremy) of Rogers and Julie Harrelson of Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Avery Angel, Avalynn Rima, Hunter Hall, Mallory Payne, Heelyn Hanks, Olivia Furstenberg and Stayton Poachhacker.
