She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Will Smith and Cora Smith; her grandson Justin Walker; her husband Ed Walker; her children, Karen Page (Bob) and Eddie Walker (Joni); and her grandchildren, Johnnie "Zane" Mayfield Jr., Mikey Page (Nicole), Deanne Spease (Tim) and Katie Reid. She was also cherished by nine great grandchildren.
