He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernice "Bud" Hurst and Marian Williams Hurst; and his adoptive mother Lois Douglass Clifton. He is survived by: his siblings, Gena Norris and Darrell Clifton. He is also survived by two nieces; three nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews.
