She was predeceased by: her parents, Emma (David Young) and Mary; her husband Charles Priest; and her siblings, Betty Faye Rhoads, Dale Pope and Bob Pope.

She is survived by: her siblings, Martha Kuskey (Ken), Tim Young (Barbara), Ruth Ratcliff and David "Corky" Young (Debby); her caregiver Penny McLain; and her close friend Alan Nussbaum. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Smith Funeral Home (7700 AR-107, Sherwood, AR 72120). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, Mary requested that donations be made to a charity of one's choice.
