With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Ann Shay of Sherwood, Arkansas, born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who passed away on April 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Hicks Couch and Pearl Marie Bolin Couch; her husband Richard Paul Shay; and her sister Sue Couch. She is survived by: her brothers, Philip Couch of Batesville, AR, Jim Couch of Sherwood, AR and Charles Couch of Fayetteville, AR; her children, Bobette Dianne Vechik (Dave) of Virginia, Gregory Lee Shay (Christina) of Texas and Kimberly Lynn Partlow (Larry) of Kansas; her grandchildren, Justin Motl (Amanda) of Virginia, Joshua Motl of Virginia, Jonathan Motl of Iowa, Christian Shay, Audrey Shay of Texas, Russell Partlow, Jessica Partlow and Regan Partlow; and her great grandchildren, Summer, DixieLynn, Jameson, Gwendolyn of Virginia and Lillith Motl of Iowa. She is also survived by 13 nieces and nephews; and a tremendous about of extended family, loving friends that she thought of as family and her church family.
