She was predeceased by: her parents, Essie and James Garfield Smith, Sr.. She is survived by: her husband Marvin "Buddy" Wood; her daughter Annette Tomany (Armand); and her brothers, Morris Smith, Preston Smith (Margaret) and Harold Smith (Martha). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
