She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert L. Covington, Jr. and Dorothy L. Covington; her husbands, Kenneth Pearson and Bill Roper; and her son Mike Pearson.
She is survived by: her brother Pete Covington (Jan); her son Ken Pearson (Joni); her grandchildren, Renee Renfro (Mark), Reanna Minton (Kevin), Allison Rhodes (Andres) and Kenneth Russell Pearson (Chelsea); and her great grandchildren, Kensley Rickale Pearson and Zara Elena Rhodes. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
