It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Hazel Irene Carter (Sherwood, Arkansas), born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Lewis and Violet Lewis; her husband Leonard; her brothers, Harry and Floyd Lewis; her grandchildren, Francie Escovedo (Ben), Bill Tibbett (Angie) and Beth Graham (Josh); her great grandchildren, Chloe Tibbett, Garrett, Gabe Escovedo, Kate Nilles and Karr Graham; and her brother Lloyd Lewis (Ann). She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
