In the sacred silence of farewell, Fredrick is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Fredrick's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Johnson and Lillie Mae Mitchell; and his sister Janice Scott. He is survived by: his children, Shineka Mitchell (Derrick White), Fredrick Mitchell, Jr. (Tyrene) and Kimberly Mitchell; his siblings, Willie Mitchell, Emma Jean Rand, Norma Johnson, Cynthia Harris, Maurice Mitchell and Gary Johnson; and his close friend Gloria Thomas. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
