He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Bertha Schafer Lee; and his siblings, Raymond Lee, Gene Kyzer, Louise Sparks and Madeline Hess.

He is survived by: his children, DeShea Hernandez (Rudy) of Little Rock, Michelle Heagwood of Sherwood, Arkansas, Robert Lee and Ernest Lee; his grandchildren, Christy Pitard and Monareesa Heagwood; and his great grandchildren, Zoie Heagwood and Payton Pitard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
