He was predeceased by: his wife Sylvia Watson; his daughter Linda K. Watson; and his parents, George Watson and Essie Mae Watson. He is survived by: his children, Edward H. Watson Jr. (Sheryl), Damiyan Watson (Nina), Antwan Watson (Haley) and Cynthia Wallace (Lemuel Sr.); and his sister Doris Watson-Brodie.
