He was predeceased by: his sister Amanda Carter; and his grandparents, Peggy Hazelwood, Turner Hazelwood, William Carter and Sally Woods.

He is survived by: his parents, Shelly Hazelwood-Marr (Chris) and Michael Carter; his son Kade Carter; his siblings, Todd Carter, Christopher Carter, Elana Nesbit, Ross Smith, Shawn Chester and Ceann Bowerman; and his son Kip Michael.
