He is survived by: his wife Darriel Holden Scott; his child Michael Scott; his grandchild Cynthia Shuffield; his great grandchildren, Billy Shuffield, Katelyn Shuffield and Haley Shuffield; and his siblings, Norma Thompson (Thom), Brenda Shermantine (John) and Elzie Scott.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Arkansas Baptist Disaster Relief, 10 Remington Dr, Little Rock, AR 72204.
