With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deacon Elbert Townsend of Sherwood, Arkansas, who passed away on September 13, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Townsend, Sr. and Bessie Townsend; and his father-in-law Lacy Neal. He is survived by: his wife Tammy Townsend; his mother-in-law Veal Neal; his siblings, Verganne Murray, Leodis Townsend (Bev), Gene Townsend and Jimmy Townsend; and his in-laws, Lawrence Neal (Maria), Harry Neal (Shanelle) and Isaac Neal (Brandy). He is also survived by nephews, nieces, great and great-great nephews and nieces.
