He is survived by: his sisters, Brenda Joshlin and Rhetta Cervantes; his stepbrother William "Buddy" E. Kniep Jr.; his stepsons, Brian Sherrill (Jeanna), Jason and Aaron Torres; his stepgrandchildren, Jaron, Devin and Sam Sherrill; his godson Charlie Anderson (Ashlie); his granddaughter Gracie Mae Anderson; and his niece Dawn Jenkins.
