He was predeceased by: his parents, Solon Jones and Ellen Jones (Gollree); his daughter Barbara Jones; his brother-in-law Fritz Bargen; and his siblings, Patsy Bargen, Pauline Jones Beal and Leray Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Lambert, Billy Jones and Martha Waller (Randy); his siblings, Loraine Harris (Earnest) of Seminole, Texas, Ralph Jones (Georgetta) of Omaha and Ira Jones (Tom) of Louisiana; his siblings-in-law, Jay Beal and Clare Jones of Sebring, Florida.; his grandchildren, Nick Matthews, Terry Jones, John Franks Jr. (Brianne), Philip Franks, Ashley Jones, Shala Smith, Victoria Blackmon (John), Kim Lacy (Chris) and Chad Waller (Christi); and his great grandchildren, Alexander Franks, Emily Franks, Olivia Franks, Ella Kate Lacy, Emma Claire Lacy, Ruby Blackmon, Aubrey Smith, Jensen Smith, Samuel Jones and Natalie Jones.
