She was predeceased by: her parents, Henderson Slaughter and Clara Slaughter; her husband Billy M. Phillips; her siblings, Liburn Slaughter of Ernest Slaughter, H. F, Margaret Johnson Lucille Huckaby, Betty Nolen, Jean Tonar and Jane West; and her son-in-law Orvin "Buddy" Harvey Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael Phillips (Linda Jo) and Leigh Ann Harvey; her grandsons, Michael Dane Phillips and Joshua Ryan Harvey; and her great grandchildren, Christopher and Paris Phillips. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
