She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Gertsch and Catherine Urbani Gertsch; her husband Louis G. Simpson, Sr.; and her siblings, Marie Powell and Alford Joe Gertsch.
She is survived by: her children, Louis Simpson, Jr. (Sandra) of Jacksonville, JoAnn McCormack of Little Rock and Tina Weatherly of Sherwood; her sisters, Lucille Stone, Brenda Timmons of Sherwood and B. Ann Busterard of Jacksonville; and her sister-in-law Modean Gertsch. She is also survived by five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
