With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Willie Iverson of Sherrill, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Willie had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Willie may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Iverson and Willie Mae Iverson. He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Cloird of Pine Bluff, AR and Jerry Iverson (Jacqueline) of Pine Bluff, AR.; his children, Tywan Iverson of Flint, MI., Zina and Shamel Burnett of Flint, MI.; and his close friend Shirley Toney.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Paradise Funeral Home (3705 W 6th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71603). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church (500 N McKinney Rd, Sherrill, AR 72152).
