He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Donaldson and Mary Donaldson. He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Lara (Sue), Jennifer (Hap Jr.), Virginia (John) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Jordan (Charli), Hap III, Noah, Caleb, Carter, Caiden, Tanner, Ellison, Carson, Claire, Olivia and Riley; and his siblings, John (Eileen), Gail (late Frank) and Susie. He is also survived by his in-laws, nieces, and nephews, as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Sheridan, Arkansas.
