It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Lee Rice (Sheridan, Arkansas), born in Woodson, Arkansas, who passed away on February 12, 2019, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Rice; and his son Vernon L. Rice, Jr.. He is survived by: his daughter Rena McInturff (Kevin); his stepchildren, Polly Ransom and David Carmon; his siblings, Billy Ray Rice and Joyce Isom (Hubert); and his grandchildren, Brittney Bumgardner (Josh), Lakin Baker (Jason), Jimmie Woodard, Steven Woodard, Tiffany Ransom and Brandi Carmon. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
