With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Jean Gray of Sheridan, Arkansas, born in Little Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on June 9, 2020 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas C. Smith and Ida Mae Smith; her grandparents, Jonah, Reba Avery, Tom and Ophelia Smith; her son James Campbell; and her brother James Edward "Pop" Smith.
She is survived by: her grandson Raul Hart; her siblings, Carolyn Hill, Theresa Smith of Malvern, Arkansas, Alan Wayne Smith (Desiree) of Frisco Texas and Marvelton Smith of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her niece Sasha Smith of Malvern; and her aunt Pauline Goodson of Los Angeles, CA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
